Squirrel Scouts

Squirrels are typically aged between 4 and 6 years.

1^st Littleport Squirrel Scouts form two Dreys; one meets on Tuesdays, the other on Wednesdays. Both Dreys follow the same programme of activities.

A typical meeting will open with flag break. Depending on our plan for the evening, we'll try to fit in a game before getting started on our main activity, or we'll try to include a game at the end of the session.

Our activities cover wide range of skill sets, from the domestic to the adventurous. The whole Squirrels programme is designed to give young people valuable life skills and experiences, and to help them reveal their own strengths and talents.

Although most Squirrels move on to Beavers around 6 years, we're quite flexible about this. Often, a small group of Squirrels want to move on together, we try to allow this as much as possible.
